Face-off for DMC Oslo!

A lot of exciting activities are taking place within the DMC organization and one of last week’s highlights was the first production by DMC of the ‘Fjordkraft-ligaen‘ series. Fjordkraft-ligaen is Norway’s premier ice hockey league organized by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association and consists of 10 teams competing for the honorable Kongepokalen. The first DMC-produced game took place last week and marked the start of DMC’s multi-year contract including more than 700 different productions yearly for TV2.

Jens Cornelius Knudsen, Head of Production Models and Partnerships at TV2 says:
TV2 and I are happy to see the first centralized production from DMC’s new production hub in the heart of Oslo be a huge success, with brilliant-looking pictures and a vibrant sound. We have set a new standard for centralized production and we certainly hope that the many productions to come in TV2’s “Hjemmebaneprosjektet”(Home turf project for Norwegian sports) will stand out as much as the first transmission did.

“We are very proud and excited about our broadcast center and its proven capacity to handle several multi-camera productions simultaneously with the latest technology and broadcast solutions simplifying live sports production” says Eirik Løvås, Director of Production at DMC Oslo.
