As part of the multi-year contract between DMC and TV2, eight brand new VAR (Video Assistant Referee) stations have been installed at DMC’s Oslo broadcast center. DMC’s broadcast center is a state-of-the-art production facility located in the heart of Oslo’s city center. The implementation of a centralized VAR operation is an exciting development and step forward for the Norwegian football league “EliteSerien”. DMC and TV2 in collaboration with the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) will continue to develop VAR operations to create the best possible experience for Norwegian football and all viewers who love the sport.
